There are major causes of hearing loss, namely congenital hearing loss, ear infection, noise-induced hearing loss, age-related hearing loss, and cerumen impaction-related hearing loss. Chief of the Indonesian Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Society, Yussy Afriani Dewi explained that 60% of hearing loss is preventable.
